I Found My Feet!

“Why is this happening to me?”

It’s been a rough couple of months feeling a bit lost, disconnected, and frustrated. A nasty combo of the flu and infection kept me away from surfing. Simultaneously, a series of events in my professional venture pushed me in directions that didn’t align with my values.

Thanks to my friend and surf “seaster”, Elaine, for taking me to a gorgeous scenic hike at Torrey Pines! Being surrounded by the nature and in company of a genuine friend acted like a super GPS. It guided me back to what mattered – authenticity and gratitude. I realized that authenticity doesn’t have to be a serious mission. Rather, it’s a continuous exploration of what being me means. And I’m so grateful to be living in the part of the world that offers some of my favorite things – surf, sun, and salty friends to share the experience with!

In the embrace of it all, I found my feet again – grounded, present, and grateful for the simple joys of life. The hike, a wild adventure in nature, and insightful conversation, was a reminder that life's rhythm is best danced to with gratitude and authenticity.

I’m curious. What matters most to you? What is your super GPS that navigates you back when you need to find your feet?
